How I do refuse and send back a gift to an alliance member?

I've been receiving AW revives gifts from an alliance member but I don't participate AW in my alliance.
They cost 60 to 80 units a pop which I don't want to spend to return the same gesture.
How I do refuse and send back a gift to an alliance member?

You can’t send it back, but you could let it expire if you don’t want to take it. But that doesn’t get them their units back. Either way, I would suggest communicating to your alliance mates that they are wasting their units if you have no plan to send any gifts.
