need for tier based banquet crystals
Last year, I missed the cutoff date for being able to use my alt account by 2 days. This year, my account was barely far enough along progression wise to qualify (approximately completed through 5.1.4, barely level 40, and pre-baquet event only had a handful of 5-star champs, none R5, and zero 6 star champs). In fairness though I barely touched the account in 2022 / kind of been just waiting for this year's even to dump the units into my main (went with incusion items to translate into better mats).
Anyway, after doing the item dump, by being in a 2-account alliance, I had about 9 Greater banquet crystals from hitting some of the milestones, along with various 6 star shards, including a nexus.
In the 9 GGCs, I got 2 6-star generic AGs, some R4 mat, enough T4CC to R3 a six-star, etc., and even have half the materials to R4 a 6 star champion (if I had the iso... again, barely touched the account).
Its really silly that such an account through no spending could get such materials "just because". It makes the grind summoners go through pointless if these kind of rewards will just be given away for no real effort or achievement.
On the other end of the spectrum, you have "true end game players" who for about 95% of their GGCs will not be happy, and for about 50% of their GGCs, would be better off just going to the catalyst store or the crystal vault and buying the items. Why would someone like Karate Mike or KT1 want 50,000 scrap, or 1 T5B, or 1 T2A, or 1 nexus cav, or 2 "normal cav"? Its just silly. Those would be fine things to give my above newbie account... but if it weren't for the fact they need you-tube views... and were doing it live... they should be pissed... and I'm amazed on some hasn't thrown/broken their phone yet in frustration.
