Can't buy GBC??

I created an alt yesterday for a bit of fun to see how quickly I could get it to Uncollected/Cav with the help of buying GBC. But I'm Proven and level 21 and I don't have the option to buy them in the store, not even the cash 10xcrystals offer.

Am I not able to buy these ever or are they level locked?

    Accounts created after November 21st are unable to participate in the Banquet, as well as any accounts created before November 21st that are not both Conqueror and level 40. Even if you are able to spend the cash on crystals, they probably still won’t show up in the store until you’ve hit level 40. TL;DR, you probably won’t be able to get any.

    I'm not talking about the rewards, solo, alliance of calendar. Just being able to buy the crystals in store.

    My Alt which passes all the above bar being level 40 (thanks Kabam), doesn't have access to the event but can still purchase crystals from the store. So I'm wondering if its level locked?

    It’s probably fair to say that level 40 is still a requirement to be able to purchase the crystals.

    In all fairness, my level 36 UC alt can buy GBCs, but they don't have banquet milestones.

    To OP, you might need to hit conquerer to get GBCs unlocked

    That's simply not true, like I said. My other alt is a year old, conquerer and level 32 but can buy GBC from the store and purchase the bundle, but does not have the gifting badge or event access. @Kabam Miike Any ideas?

    That's simply not true, like I said. My other alt is a year old, conquerer and level 32 but can buy GBC from the store and purchase the bundle, but does not have the gifting badge or event access. @Kabam Miike Any ideas?

    I worked long and hard to answer your question, the answer is you just need to be conqueror to buy GBCs. I started this alt 3 days ago and just hit conqueror today.

    In others defense, they probably thought that you needed the gifting badge to be able to get GBCs
