Do the GBCs in the calendar count towards the event?

So I was looking at the timers for the calendar and the banquet event, and I noticed that the banquet event ends sooner than when the calendar gives us the gbcs. Can anyone confirm if this is right or not?

They should count after opening so 3000 points but not the extra 1000 pts for each for buying them as they are free

1,000 for opening is what can be earned from these

The banquet does not end before the calendar. The final day of the calendar will release at 00:00 UTC Jan 3 (it is incorrectly communicated as 24:00) and the event ends at 18:00 UTC Jan 3. You will have 18 hours to open the crystals for them to count for an additional 4,000 points toward the event.
