Hoarding is an unhealthy behaviour IIRC, I can't remember exactly why but I'm pretty sure it was announced as such.

Kabam doesn't like it when you hoard 100s of types of crystals. The amount of a crystal doesn't matter, just how many types of crystals you have. The more types, the more server space it takes. That's why like a year and half ago, they Auto opened many types of crystals players had to expel them from the server space.

Kabam has already dealt with it, that's why we are never getting wish crystals 😁

Pretty soon, they'll auto open all out AQ crystals as well.

That's the only way to lighten the load when you have millions of accounts on servers you don't even own.

It is a them problem so they dealt with it by auto opening
