who to awaken? Spidey 2099 or Overseer?

So my question is any of them worth a generic awakening gem and if so who would you give it to?
My main focus is battlegrounds and war.
Science is currently my weakest class if that helps.

I’d have to see your whole roster to know for sure. My personal choice at first glance would be save it, followed by Spidey 2099.

Do you run recoil masteries?
Are you talking 5* or 6*?
What kind of Sig stone haul do you have to throw into them?

Personally, whilst they're both good champions, if you were talking a 6* Generic Gem, I wouldn't give it to either of them.

My roster is pretty big. I'm F2P but been playing since pretty much the beginning of the game.
I have solutions for almost everything but science is my weakest class with only Miles R4, Ham R3 and Negative R2 maybe one other not sure. I'm talking 6*s of course.

I'd hesitate to use the gem on either, unless you desperately need someone big, green and poison immune.

Mr Negative is Nullify immune, has amazing utility and tbh would be a better place to spend a Gem.

Why not spend some time on @BitterSteel 's YouTube channel, play around with Negative and see if he does what you need?

Already have Negative awakened and R2. Not really a fan to be honest. Don't like he's playstyle.
