Why Am I Dexing Back All The Time Instead of Blocking?

Lately, I can’t seem to hold block in battlegrounds, AQ, AW. I end up dashing back. It’s making me crazy because I’ve played this game for 7 years and never had this issue. Is it just an iPhone 14 issue?
