Mr. Sinister genetic code

I've been playing with sinister and I've noticed that after winning fights he's not retaining all of his codes throughout quest. He might keep 1 or 2 but that it. Anyone else with this issue?

@willrun4adonut, I was just playing him for fun, but he's actually great for defense. People underestimate him.
