EOP 5* cgr

Hii,

Im short on dimensional being champs, i have galan 6* r3 and hood/purgatory/AC/mephisto all r1 , ik hood is op although i dont play him i will probably end up ranking him and take him with galan,
My question is should i rank up a 5* cgr as a third champ or take only a 6* ( mephisto/ purgatory ), will he be useful as a 5* ( unawakened ) ?
