Is AI behaving properly?

After watching Kabam Jax in Twitch at the Kabam chanel, he said that they watch the content that people uploads at youtube, so I thought, why Kabams still does say that the AI works as intended if it does not?

Lagacy is the best example of this, I watched him for hours while he was doing both Gauntlet and EoP, and he complained, as everybody complains about the AI behaviour, because for the last year, maybe year and half, it has behaved way different, randomly switches from offensive, to passive, to only blocking, to only throwing random heavys, to not throwing specials, to throwing them randomly, to intercept, etc etc etc, and as I said, if you really watch Lags streams, you will notice it.

I just want to know why Kabam acts like it doesnt, personally I have one possible reason that is that they dont wanna work on it even if its not working properly, why? Probably because they want to work on other stuff or they already are and they dont want to invest on more both stuff and staff.

Personally I just want some transparency and Ill ask everybody, do you guys feel like the AI is way different from a year ago or maybe it is just me?

A defender just threw a Special while he was blocking while I was going to hit block to taunt him, this kind of things didnt happen before

We know it isn't but we also that "they haven't changed anything bcoz they never touch AI"

Most of us have enough experience to know that talking about AI is a lost cause since they never ever agree to it
They either just ignore the threads or flat-out lie about it

My main annoyance with the A.I. at the moment is the length of their dashes. I seem to be getting caught as I dash back far more often than usual. Feels like they can dash half the map in one go.

The AI is schizophrenic and my main issue with the game. Notable are the random and somewhat common refusals to throw specials, and when the defender turtles up to ruin your rotation. I swear I lose more matches because of those two things than for any other reason. You should be able to bait specials and heavies reliably. Sometimes there is nothing you can do.

The AI changes are definitely on purpose.
The purpose: to keep the game interesting.

The earliest thing I saw was the offense speed changes.
When I began, you had one offense speed in the fight (Quaking was sooooooo easy).
Later, they could change speed, midfight, but only 1-2 changes per fight.
Now, they change speed constantly.
The speed boost in the middle of a dash attack is why we miss blocks so much.

I'd be ok with some variation to the AI if there was a sense of fairness. But lately that is also missing. Recovering from specials in time to block or parry is something the defenders can now seem to do in fewer active frames than before, and in fewer active frames than my champ is capable of recovering in.

And the dashing. Dear god, the dashing. I have to dex significantly more on specials and regular dash ins than before. Yet my own Sabretooth can't span the entire screen on SP1, and I can't dash in far enough to clip a defender that is dashing back.

It can be frustrating.

My favorite is when both fighters are holding block and as soon as your finger leaves the screen the defender dashes in for an attack only an AI can have reflexes like that, I mean .000001 seconds after my finger leaves the screen. It happening once or a few times I could accept that it's coincidental but it happens all the time. How can we compete with reflexes that fast? We can't, and then we bust out the credit card and buy revives just as they intended when they designed this AI.

Not sure if other summoners are experiencing same as me but, the A.I. is so annoying in Summoners Trials arena.
Quake and Ghost are completely unusable.
Parry is just a dream to achieve.
It takes ages to bait sp1 or sp2.
Defender is pro (or god) in using dexterity and parry now.

I really just want Kabam employees that know about this to say something, just be honest:

You changed it because it became too easy for experienced players to play so you had to make it harder?

Something changed in a patch and you have no time to work on it?

Something changed and you have better stuff to do?

I wanna know the truth, maybe you even changed it so we have to pay to get revives and heals because you need more money, that would be understandable aswell since this a company and it exists to earn money, but please, give the players some info about this.

I would say everybody notices that AI is not the same or it is not working as it should, Im sure that there are people that thinks they are becoming worse at the game cause the AI is making them lose more than they used to, so please, dont say that this isnt an issue or a bug or AI didnt change, just be honest this time.

I see also the „unhuman“ AI.

Play the same fight 6-10 times (Restart) and eventually the AI will Play normally, also for the next fights. Try it.

sometimes I think to myself, that what we players call mistakes are programmed and make the difference whether the game makes a lot or a little profit. They are intentionally programmed errors that occur so randomly that no intention can be identified. That could be the reason why they don't handle the bugs.

They don't care and I don't think they have it in them to give a legit answer as to why this has been going on for YEARS! Kabam does this every time. They never acknowledge what's really going on with AI. It might get better for about a month but then is back to acting up again.

Kabam has zero idea what they are doing and will continue to sweep it under the rug...cause that's what they do.

They need to change a lot of things that they are doing incorrectly, the first one is to acknowledge their mistakes and say sorry, not talking about compensations (that would be legit because all players lose resourcers constantly because of ingame bugs and issues), im talking about an apology, just say something like

"Yeah, we messed up, sorry fam, we will try to do it better next time"

Thats all I really want, and maybe more Kabam people on forums, I know game companies way more smaller than this with waaaay more people that work for them in forums and support

Just been fighting Jessica Jones in 1.2 eq thronebreaker difficulty.
She was at 2 bars of power and refusing to throw a special despite me spending what felt like 20 minutes dashing in and out and leaving myself open trying to bait it out.
So I waited until she was holding block solidly then dashed in to block hit her… she shallow evaded and intercepted me with sp2 lol.

AI reaction speed is insane.

So, I learned my lesson - I'll never try to punish his heavy again (it actually took me a couple times to learn this). but how is this even possible? And an even better question:

How is this fair or even fun?

This could NEVER happen, AI never intercepted or attacked or threw special when you do medium run to block, NEVER, so this is prove enough that this aint working properly

They will never acknowledge it. Too many people spending money on revives and POTs. Its the dishonesty that irritates me. Gaming communities thrive when companies are upfront. I am going to start recording all my matches now. If there is evidence they cannot deny.
