Overseer Power snack bug?

Had to be a bug but fighting Mr Fantstic of the poison path (section two far left) of AQ Map 6 with the Block proficiency modifier. Used overseer for the fight and as soon as I triggered Dex, power snack kicked in. No problem as Overseer is immune to nullify, so I should keep my Buff and move on. Instead the Power snack prompt just happened over and over. Instead of MrF getting 50% of a bar he immediately got full 3 bars red, sp3 and I lose. Something didn’t seem right there but happened way too fast for a picture/video etc.
