Is Gold Necessary in Event Quest ?

I have no gold for upgradation to utilize gauntlet rank up gems and i think upgrade cost is high for 6 star

The event quest already has quite a bit of gold, 6 stars are expensive and gold has been lacking for a while but Kabam has made big steps to adress that issue. The 22h solo events have AT LEAST 170K gold in them when doing all milestones and opening the crystals.
Thronebreaker Difficulty has 150K gold on every path that isn't the easiest(that adds up to quite a bit of gold) that combined with the other difficulties and other sources of gold I think they're doing a fine job at the moment(although I'll never complain about extra gold).
So I don't really get what your point is with this poll, gold in the EQ is very much necessary, that's why it's already in there. If you're asking if MORE gold is necessary, not in my opinion, I do rank ups whenever Level up comes around and I'm sitting on 22Mil gold that's slowly but steadily climbing even with R3s and occasional R4s
