The level 52 was me back in 2016.
Comparing with a level 42 this year in 2023.
Perhaps this is one of the reasons why there was a sudden spike in the difficulty of monthly EQ. But I’m only speculating.

Your new account has an experienced player that controls the champs. Who can easily play the increased difficulty.
The average new player will unlock event quest at level 17. They will get level 17 before they set foot in act 3. While the lowest event quest difficulty has a first quest that is equal or above the first part of act 3.
From what I have seen of the 2 difficulties above that they are also a pretty big deal more difficult than their respective story progression positions.
As an example. I created an account for my son (5) so he could do the easiest difficulty event quest, since he loves Marvel just as much as his dad. The first time he did this 2 months ago he was very well able to do a quest with maxed 3 stars and a single 1/25 5* as backup. This month he died after 4 fights with 2x 1/25 5* and 2 4 star rank 2/3.
ofcourse I am not saying the easiest mode should be made for a 5 year old. In fact. If someone made an argument the game should not be played by a 5 year old I could not tell them they are wrong.
I am simply giving this as an example of how much more difficult it has become. Going from 1.1 600-800 pi enemies to 1.1 1600-1800 pi on the easiest difficulty is quite a jump.
These lower level modes should be made to encourage people to want to get deeper into the game by giving them a positive experience. The difficulty can come when they move up the ladder of progression. But the current change actually discourages newer players event quest is worth doing. Since they cannot complete it when it unlocks for them.
