Battlegrounds Champion.. Glitch?

I've noticed frequently that in the selection process the game will automatically choose a champion. I've seen it happen for me and the opponent, right before we actually get to choose our defenders/attackers. Would love to hear more about this and why it happens.. I'll be here!

    This is happening to me too for the first round mostly. Very very frustrating especially at the higher competitive levels

    If it happens in anything but the first round pick that's criminal 😅
