Which 5* are still worth ranking up?

Title says it all. Assuming you don’t already have the 6*.
And follow up question, what if you already do have the 6*?

The ones you need are worth ranking

If you got the 6* already, then only rank the 5*a that NEED high sig. Again, only rank them if you need them.

If you don’t have a 6* Hercules, ghost , tigra, etc…. I’d say those champs are worth ranking as a 5*

This is my opinion only...
The way the game is now in 2023 its not worth it.
Back a year or 2 ago when sig stones was still a high commodity then yeah i would gladly rank up a 5* champ and max sig him to clear content for example in my case; void and ageon.
But with the availability of awakening gems and sig stones I will gladly grind a season of battlegrounds and get the stones and shards to dup and max sig my champs.

The ones that need high sig like Void, OR Angela etc are worth it IMO. I still use them when I need their utility. Its not much of an investment at this point anyway. A few T2A and 2 T5B’s are about the only relevant cats needed and they are very easy to get these days.

New champs that you won’t be able to get in featured 6* for months. And only if you have the t5b and t2a to spare. I took up champs like quicksilver, or galan, or weapon x.

As a lot of commenters previously mentioned before, if a champ needs high sig, ranking the 5* is a great option, because not many people have the time or resources necessary to grind for hours just to get some sig stones. If the champ only needs dupe, however, 6* is the better choice

There are some niche champs that hard counter things, like Magneto vs robots and Apoc vs purify. They are worth it.

Wouldn't bother with anything else.

You need multiple of those so 5stars and 6 stars both will help you with the challenges.

And there is Herc whom you can double up as 5* and 6* for general questing and incursions to save resources.

I'd go with mags, AA, Torch, Doom, Hercules, KP even if I had them as 6*. They help a lot for questing and I am not really into BGs or arenas. I'd add Nick as well cuz, well, he is fun and has great piece of utility of course. Plus champs who need higher sigs, as mentioned earlier like; Knull, Valk, Omega red, guardian, etc. depending if you like their play style.
Just the thing I'd do, no pressure. Peace

In addition to high sig champs, would also say synergy champs. Dont know where you are in story content but Heimdall plus Hela synergy was super helpful against Sinister and having one of those two ranked up so they can contribute in the combat saved on healing potions.

Similarly, if your top 6* champs have a good synergy partner, worth ranking even the 5* version.
