Galan & Rage Node

Isn't Galan supposed to ignore the rage node? Just tried him against it in incursions and he does not. What's up with that. Thought red damage bypasses the rage node

I have never heard that it bypasses rage. It bypasses safeguard.

So I'm assuming nothing bypasses rage. Not even dot. Dot damage will tick for 1% max.

Tigra burst can bypass rage but she cannot bypass fury buffs due to aar immunity on those buffs.

QS cannot bypass the node cap, but he works differently, he get burst damage for each whiplash individually. So he can still do decent damage. Just not over the damage cap per whiplash.

Rulk/herc, thier burst can't bypass rage.
Same goes for galan, he can't bypass damage cap.

I don't know about DOT bypassing it.
Im assuming, it won't, but it may.

We are blindsided by the vague description of node and it's interaction.

Not a clue what works or what doesn't.

Will valk sp2 bypass the cap?
Will rintrah sp2 bypass the cap?
Did nimrod's sp2 passive shocks ignores the cap?

There will be a lot of dying in week 4 lol.

Yeah. There's definitely some reduction going on. Can't figure out where.

In 5.4, on the rage path my 5* does around 1k,2k damage but in same map elsewhere she already does 3k without many ruptures. So something definitely is happening. When i checked the damage she deals is a multiple of the damage limit or plus the other red number adding to show as same

- Massacre and Hulking

Have you seen any actual damage do more than the cap? Other than when it's multiple triggers adding up? Cause so far the only I've seen is tigra sp burst and that's also reduced

Anyone know if Spider Ham's porker poppers will bypass the rage node? I saw above that Scorpions sting bursts bypass it so I'm thinking Spider Ham will bypass it also.

Neither bypass. Just that each sting will do the damage cap so at once when multiple pop it does cap time the number of stings

Lol I’d definitely consider that bypassing the node. Yes the node isn’t broken and is functioning like you said, but he can straight up ignore the rage node, that’s the same as bypassing a biohazard node using a champ that’s bleed and poison immune. The node still works but that champion bypasses it with their utility.
