BG Season 5 meta

Did this last time and i hope it helped so lets do it again. Of course this month the nodes are easier to deal with, but some champs will still gain an advantage whether on defence or attack. Suggest some defenders and attackers that you think will give players an edge.

For example, i believe Ibom will be amazing on defense, definitely need to watch spacing with him anyways, but with the long distance relationship if he catches you in a corner its gonna be hard to shrug off those weaknesses, and if he has applied any poisions to you, getting hit might just be match over.
Shang chi might be good on offence, that cleanse will definitely come into use.

I know a lot of people complain about matchmaking, but since we can change that, good skill and knowledge can win unfavourable match-ups so post any cool cheese or cool interaction matchups you can think of, or just regular solid champs that most people can find in their roster.

Kingpin rage stacks are considered debuffs so you are just handing the defender a fury buff

Domino's crit failure damage only scales with base attack right.

That's a massive leap. Kingpin was used plenty in war for hazard shift and the fury node. The perennial advice if followed means you can ignore the fury node. "Don't get hit"

I am just glad this Meta isn't restrictive to a relatively small pool and will be more skill based.

U will be doing that anyway unless u slow down the fight by a lot in which case u might lose on time
With Kingpin there'll be a chance to get to overpower pretty quickly
Unfortunately I don't even have a Kingpin in my deck

Yeah, Crossbones is probably gonna be a great option. He'll obviously need to be high sig, but those debuffs will just make him hit like a truck.

Moleman will be another go to attacker.

In addition to the above named defenders, War Marchine will probably be another one.

I know for me personally, I'll also have Electro and Korg in the deck for defense too.

I don't have him yet, but Attuma will probably be another good defender.
