Speedy ai?

Anyone else seeing the ai be mad quick right now? Whether I'm in aq map 4, map 5, mojos choice any threat level, eq, arena, story, im getting this ai that wants to rush me constantly. Like I fire off ultrons sp1, knock a guy down, and immediately have to start blocking because he's up and hauling it towards me.

They’re blocking specials to counters and recovering from things way faster this month.

Certain champs seem to have lighting fast recoveries after being knocked down.

Storm and Guillotine 2099 come to mind .

What else is new, it's all geared towards getting you to use up your revives and portions, spend unit on revives and portions. Once you're out of units, pull out your wallet to spend $$$ on units to buy revives and portions,. It's an endless cycle. Yup, it's working as intended by Kabam!

I find that when I do a special at the end of a combo it tends to start getting blocked somehow.

When your champ is dashing forward while holding block, having a speedy AI, it a bit of an overkill.
It's messed up losing unnecessary health to phantom controls.

I was doing EQ and Heimdall got me with heavies coming out of nowhere a couple of times. Shockingly fast. I had to pause to think, wait, what?

I’ve noticed the ai sometimes throwing a second hit incredibly fast.
It’s like they recover and launch their next attack instantly after I dodge or dex their first attack.
This is happening against any old defender too.
It seems like a new thing the ai is doing. Maybe a very aggressive Venom could do this in the past but can’t remember any other defenders being able to.

This may be an attempt to get players to spend more. Netmarble purchased Kabam for $700-$800 million, and since then Kabam's annual revenue is around $53 million per year, and Netmarble hasn't even managed to break even yet. Netmarble needs Kabam to make more money for them, and this may be a subtle way to do it

After the updste, the AI can block the special attack as soon as I end the combo. This has not happened so far.

They started screwing with things before too much and when unity changed, they blamed just the game engine. I still think they botched something up that they couldn't easily recover from because the of the change near the same time, but the whole story was not just the unity update.

But then again, I don't believe covid came from bat soup either. So tinfoil hat maybe, but anyway.

Right now this game and attitudes would be in a lot different state if BGs did not exist. (Even with the crappy matchmaking and progression model in VT.)

I’ve been having this issue A LOT when using Apocalypse

Several times, the AI manages to block my specials out of nowhere, specially after combos.

I hardly have this issue with any other champion, though.
