New Ant-man

Is there something I’m missing with the new Ant-man? There is nothing in his kit about removing the power detonation. So there is no way to avoid the damage and effects? Also, if you remove his armor, he just gets passive versions of them that are infinite? So the only counter is Pierce buffs? Am I missing something?

    The power detonation works like encroaching stun so if you throw a special it is removed
