DDHK testing with Absorbing Man Synergy 👎🏼

Disappointing.

So, it’s not really the game changer I thought it was going to be.

With the Absorbing Man synergy only, he managed 131 hits when I got the rotation down against WS.

With KP, Peni, Molenerf and Absorbing Man, he manages somewhere between 91-95 hits. That’s about a 10-15% improvement on the synergy team without Absorbing Man, but, still not good enough.

The only positive thing I got out of this testing is that I managed to stack 3 Furies for just over 10 seconds, but he couldn’t manage to do anything juicy with it. Also, that rotation took about 104 hits.

You can add as many synergies as you’d like, but the bottom line is that he needs a tune up on his base kit and his signature ability fixed.

Moleman wasn't a nerf... it was a fix since he wasn't working as intended.

I found the same to be honest @Rookiie . I was lucky enough to get a 5* Absorbing Man a couple of weeks back. Apart from Absorbing Man being a great champ by himself, the synergy disappointed me too.

I still maintain DDHK seems to be pitched as an average utility, average damage champion that is an easy buff target for other champs. Whether or not that is what was intended, it's how it looks.

Maybe @Rookiie - we tried last year to engage and offer suggestions but it didn't go anywhere and we were asked to not make any new threads about DDHK.

While we say it didn't hit the mark, that's probably because we want it to 'fix' DDHK. From our perspective as players we have many ideas and suggestions. I heard a phrase a few months ago which summed it up perfectly- "the juice isn't worth the squeeze".

The synergy with Absorbing Man may well have hit the mark for Kabam because it gave DDHK a minor boost but nothing that would upset his place in the meta, his 'place in the contest'. He's a safe target.

Don't get me wrong, if I got a message from Kabam asking me to pitch a limited improvement I'd do it - as a design challenge if nothing else. But that's not going to happen.

Switching around the Fury Buff gained from the SP2 with the Precision Buff from the SP1 would do more than most synergy tweaks to the kit. You'd have to decide whether you want Bleed damage from the SP2 or the Fury from the SP1 but that's a choice I'd rather have as a player.
