Date game Ep-1 Nova Flames useless

I'm not sure if this node is supposed to work this way but in the recent date game side quest Joe fixit seems unaffected when Torch inflicts nova flames on him.
He takes damage from power sting and bleed but if this is not a bug he may be the first champion to be unaffected by Torch's Nova Flames.

    There is a node which says that he takes 100% less damage unless there are debuffs on him.

    Because they are not debuffs. They are passive effects

    He's absolutely right. If you had used normal incinerates, they'd be damaging him just fine.
