maintenance

I know it’s been a long time since a weekly maintenance…since then A LOT of content and champions have been added. what was the reason to stop it?

I actually hadn’t even realized this until you said something. It’s been several months at least, maybe even over a year since there was routine maintenance. As things have seemingly gotten progressively worse, it also seems that they’ve gone completely unchecked given that routines have gone out the window.

The maintenance wasn't anything more than for them to maintain the server side of the game client. Software checks and other server routines that can't be done while the game is live.

Those weekly/bi-weekly maintenances weren't for fixing bugs.

Maintenance were usually to deploy code or make changes that required a period where nobody was online. Maintenance was a weird term for it, but they were not to fix bugs (unless they were affected by what we were deploying).

We haven't required one in a while, but that doesn't mean that there won't be more in the future.
