Attuma getting a more annoying thorns mechanic with no way to negate it through AAR is dumb. I agree his damage on offence is minimal and bad.

Basically, attuma hasnt earned kabam enough money so they’re buffing him in hopes he increases spending in AW

His "thorns" mechanic is the same as Electros. Contact hits only. So you have to use non contact attacks to avoid it. Very limited counters and I agree it's kind of dumb if they make it higher than a 30% chance (currently 15%).

I just like that kabam told us the explicit timeline of when their buffs will be entering the game.

I do hope Shuri doesn't become an IMIW type buff where her shocks are easier to keep, but her DPS is lowered.

Harder to counter than Electros though, since Eletro can be countered with Ability Accuracy reduction and Attuma can’t

Her kit is great, but small tweaks on her numbers, like increasing 50% her stolen buff duration and slightly higher critical rate can make her a beast.
Too bad her stolen buff pause, during opponent specials, came as a synergy and not added on her basic kit 🙁

Shuri is for long fights.

Even in long fight, with maximum shocks limit, she still deal awful damage.

If Kabam make Attuma thorms damage an unavoidable one, then that's a clear message what this game is all about lol.

It would be avoidable only by champs that have non contact hits and those who can regen the damage back.
The counters really will be narrowed to very few champs, let alone if other nodes are involved in the fight 🤔

She needs to increase her damage, it would be nice for her critical attacks to deal direct damage equal to 100% of her critical damage and what you mentioned, increase the duration of the buffs she copied and the Absorbing Man synergy to be added to her kit.
Currently, in order to have some damage, she will have to copy several furies and the mechanics are terrible to maintain.

You would think but no. If you read the final paragraph, they specifically said that they're going to focus on both champions which means that, even if it's just a numbers bump, that's gonna take all of their time and focus, so they're not going to buff any old champs in June.

Offensively Attuma needs an unstoppable heavy to assist in conversion of hydration or gain concussion on parry. Either will greatly improve his ramp up time.

I would love to see Shuri get some Easter eggs added to her kit. I think this would add a lot of popularity to the champion, especially since they went with the MCU look (which I almost always prefer). Since her arm cannons work by disrupting/deactivating vibranium in the movies, it would be cool if she had additional utility against opponents with vibranium. Like maybe all blaster attacks apply stacking armor break/shattered, or do guaranteed crits or true damage, or apply ability accuracy reduction (probably Defensive AAR). I would personally love to see more Easter eggs in champion kits in general, especially when they are tied to a movie/TV show release. Just some thoughts for the future, and might make champion balances more popular, as well.

Guillotine might actually be a usable counter, has some regen and has the pain reflect thing, although max sig namor probably would remain a better option
