Explanation for BG DCs

I know you are getting hit with a lot of issues this season, but could someone from the team please explain what’s going on with all the BGs disconnections?

It’s beyond frustrating to get a good matchup, win the first fight handily and then just get…cut off, unable to pick your champs and unable to fight.

This was a 1-0 loss for me. Which makes zero sense.

Just trying to ask for some constructive advice here. It’s been a pretty rough season performance-wise for the game, and I don’t see a lot of game team members engaging in that discussion.

What’s the answer for players? Hope for better? Apologies for tagging you directly, but it would be great to hear from someone on the problems BGs are seeing.

And it’s not just me. Next one was a 0-0 win for me. Never even got to banning stage.

While I appreciate the phony win for me, I need about a dozen more to even out.

Please offer some guidance or even acknowledgment that a problem exists.

I can’t speak to whether a fix has been pushed or not. This was as of a few minutes ago. It doesn’t include my third match of the day, which froze during matchmaking.

I did learn this: when the game auto picks for you (for example, when you force close a frozen game and try to get back into the game to draft), it doesn’t choose the highest PI champs. It appears to select the first two champs in the draft for your team.

I did think this was a pretty valiant effort to try to save the third match with a champ I didn’t even select.

In all honesty, however, players shouldn’t have to go to these lengths just to try to advance in BGs. Neither should they have to beg the team to acknowledge something’s wrong.

Game freeze after fight end, then inexplicably winds up being a win when opponent DCs.

This is as bad as it was a couple of weeks ago. Time wasted is terribly frustrating.

Unable to pick champ. So game chose for me…CGR, with a class disadvantage and unable to armor break ManThing, who is immune.

All of course, after freezing during champ selection.

Maybe look past yours and look at the forum recently. One of the biggest issues that’s been discussed nonstop since the season started was connection issues regarding BG and now it has continued to get worse. He isn’t the only one with this issue and there is even a banner at the top regarding stability issues in….holding for dramatic effect….BG! This isn’t the first time it has happened to this month. Around when the new features crystals dropped there was a whole punch of connection issues and I personally had the connection error logo for about an hour or so while i played any game mode. They weren’t asking for snyde remarks but for actual advice from the mod team or the devs in regards to this issue because it has continued to get worse each weak and not just for BG. It also is unfair since this is touted as a competitive mode and sometimes victory is decided in who is going to get kicked out that round. This is early launch issues that were either fixed and came back or bandaged and the bandaid isn’t sticky anymore

Should he turn it off and back in again? Your amazing in depth analysis of his connection leads me to believe you're a big player in the tech world. Do you have Elon on speed dial for when he breaks Twitter?
