Underrated champions

This is a discussion to get people's opinion but who are some champs in MCOC that you think
are underrated and deserve more recognition from each class?

Purgatory I think is one of the most underrated champs in the game as a owner of a 6 star r4 I can say she's tanky, very nice utility that may seem niche at first glance but is very useful, and Amazing damage ones each ramped (similar playstyle to gulk).

Super scrull I can say is a extremely underrated cosmic once you learn his rotation, double immunites (shock and incinerate), Tanky (tons of armor up buffs and falter), Amazing damage with Nova flames and furys stacked the opponent just melts away, Autoblock and miss counter which makes him an amazing peni counter, Tons of buffs (furys and armors means he's great for buffed up and great power gain with sig. People should really give him another chance

You forgot his thermal feedback, I think he's the only champ that damages your foe while the foe is gaining power themselves. I like to use him against Hyperion and Mordo because of their power gain buffs

Spidey supreme is pretty underrated. He has that insane amount of damage and doesn't require much tension or skills to play. He is insane with MD, insane power steal and benefits more from sigs. No one uses him because of his health and block proficiency only

I think hulk buster is quite overlooked, a lot of people in my allaince have asked who to rank up and I've always said hulk buster as he has got some decent damage if you can get into his sp1 heavy stun lock rotation and he was in my team carrying me to uncollected. I'll never forget using my 5* hulk buster he is dearly missed although I do use him in BG's and arenas.

Punisher 2099. Very nice, sustainable damage with INSANE power denial. Throw collar tech in, and he’s completely broken.
Mine is 6/3, no regrets. Very good for questing and BG’s.

I ranked up Hood for Kingpin’s synergy. I find I like playing Hood more the Kingpin.

I know most think he is good but he is seldom mentioned at the top of the mystic class. Sp2-> invisible->heavy…. That damage output is awesome. Also a great counter for stun immune nodes which are annoying.

I feel like Misty Knight is somewhat slept on. She has a fairly simple kit, but she does what she does really well. Easy access to constant unblockable attacks with guaranteed critical hits without the need to ever throw any special attacks? Yeah, that's often really useful stuff. She pulled a lot of weight in EOP for me, as well as in BG. Unfortunately she wasn't part of any of the EOP: Acceptance objectives, otherwise I would most likely have brought her with me on some runs there.

Add Apocalypse horseman to him and you get one of the best abilities in the game, 100% perfect block. Can cheese sooooo much content with that.

I think Yellow Jacket is quite underrated
One of the few champions in the game who can not only passively heal block, but also passively heal reverse.
Easy access to slow on heavy like She-Hulk
Has base physical + insane energy resistance
Decreases opponent's attack rating by 75% if attack is unblockable (safe as hell)
Does very good direct dmg with overheat and power stings in synergy team
Sig 200 allows to place indefinite power sting that always reactivates and does some serious dmg in long run, but that is quite niche

Pikolu

Chavez is slept on and finally got some recognization after her buff. But she hits like a truck, has good utility against those who gain power passively. 1 heavy and they hardly get any power at sig 200, and a second heavy will reverse their power gains.

Another alltime favorite of mine is Sersi on offense. Her glancing is very nice if you have to deal with being special intercepted, or if the enemy is throwing a special you can't avoid. Many times I've just thrown my heavy in the middle of their special (like unblockable nick sp1) so their special glances and I heal a lot of that damage back. Her sp2 is also very potent when you play or right, and she is hands down my favorite Shuri counter. That fight is so much fun.

Another champion is Nebula. She destroys robots and people tend to not like her because of her "hold block forever" playstyle. More often than not, I'll just be playing normally keeping a shock on the enemy until my sp3 and then I'll do intercepts and hit into their block until I'm at or near a sp2 and just parry sp2 and their pretty much dead. In BGs I'll use deep evades to build up my charges before nuking the opponent down in 1 sp2. Her regen is also insanely clutch when you're hit by an sp3 and you just heal back to full 🤣

He needs a buff. The the debuff immunity after 10ndebuffs isn’t practical especially on offense. At least, for debuffs that matters the most, you’ll be KOed will in 1 or 2 debuffs. If I were to design that ability or kit, I will make it such that the potency (and maybe duration) of every debuff that is applied to him is reduced significantly on the next one until 0. I prefer only potency so that he has the chance to heal back damage from damaging debuffs over the fight if he survives.

Nobody talks about Sym Supreme but he’s just so good for so many situations. Very reliable, a top champ still.

My biggest issue with taskmaster is that he needs to be awakened for the passive concussions to trigger for exploit weakness to actually be effective

Captain Britain! She is a really cool character. Super easy to play (especially against shrug off champions) and access to a lot of damage. Korg doesn’t stand a chance mate

I've heard nothing about Captain Britain? Is her ramp up made for longer or shorter fights? And does she need any awakening or high sig?

@Superstar_1126 it’s not the fastest ramp up against regular champs, but definitely doable as you see your damage increasing along the way, so it’s not a painful process. To just simply say it, you have to throw a lot of sp1’s to build up prowesses (and some furies etc.) and eventually can throw a nice big sp2.

If the opponent shrugs off debuffs by himself the ramp goes relatively fast!

Her sig definitely helps her, so yeah I think it’s important.

Someone I never looked at or used except in arenas until my Thing on BG's defence got wrecked over and over again.

Elsa: easy intercept, great burst damage, great counter to tricky defenders (like Mr Fantastic, Quicksilver, and Scorpion) plus incinerate or coldsnap for evading champs. She can also purify debuffs easily and with a Relic, she's a beast in BGs

Anti-Venom: amazing damage from doing Sp3, Sp1, then Sp2 (with Sp1 debuff) and repeating for long fights and tons of debuffs

Longshot: simple rotation, Pure of Heart gives great bleed burst damage on sp1 and sp2 gives incinerate burst

Angela: Her damage just mainly comes from building up power. Sp1 gives a good fury buff and I dont see people talking about her often

Mysterio: for the longest time, people slept on him until BGs. One special or a heavy landing and the whole thing could make the whole fight go wrong, especially if you mess up the timing

Storm X: prowess buildup is simple and an easy access to slow to counter unstoppable and evade. And the Storm Relic makes her so much better

These are just the champs that first to mind in terms of whos underrated along with the previously mentioned champs in this thread
