Is Night Thrasher broken?

I took my sig 20 Night Thrasher to R2 today, after watching a bunch of YouTube videos.

I know, RNG and stuff … but is this to be expected?

That’s ROL Winter Soldier and Cap Marvel taking about 100 heavy attacks each and I don’t proc a single taunt debuff.

Not one.

Is this to be expected?

Sig 20 is 19.59% chance to inflict a taunt with each heavy … Sig 200 is only 35%.

Should I expect one taunt debuff to proc averaging every 100 hits at sig 200 or is there something weird happening that I don’t understand?

you need the special one debuffs on him

with all three special one debuffs it’s a 105% chance

you have none on any of the opponents, so you’re never inflicting a taunt debuff. Not a bug, just not reading properly.

I mean I am admittedly a dummy here, but the whole “gadget debuff” language was throwing me off.

This is why I struggle.

haha, no problem! Doing a medium right before the special 1 applies incinerate, a light will give you disorient, and heavy canceling will apply a shock.

It’s pretty rough at low sig but he gets better with each one. Love my 5/65 at sig 200, he’s very fun
