Is Battleground a cause of Fustration or Fun?

As the title said. Interested to know your experience thus far.

For me, VT was fun, but GC has been totally frustrating.

The node just isn't 'fun'. I'm not talking about losing. I'm talking about dying.

We need a third option for “funstration”, because it really can go either way some days.

I'm normally in gamma 1 by this point, I'm stuck in gold 1. Seeing uncollected players in GC is very very disappointing

any node combination that allows people to win by pausing game is bad.

its not the lets remove the pause button, but maybe Kabam should not create a meta where its so bad that one of the best strategies is to pause lol.

Yeah all the waiting around too. I'd wait the full 2 minutes just to find out the other guy didn't even try and he won the match for delaying. That needs to be stopped IMO.

Personally, I find the BG Seasons too densely packed together.

It was until DNA3000 provided some insight (that I probably should have realized already). Use victory shields when one win away to avoid that frustration. I have units, and I don't care that much for the big spending days, so just use them and save time and frustration.

Why am I not surprised that that player who thinks intercepting is hard and risky (reason why he says Mantis needs a buff) doesn't like current GC meta?

I have no issues with GC meta, what I find frustrating is how victory track is setup.

While the game mode in theory has so much potential, moddderground is just what it is in practice!

Frustration because it has tons of potential to be fun and rewarding, but the matchmaking, win-loss advancement implementation, and loss of resources due to modding with no restitution makes fun impossible.

Right now it’s the most frustrated I’ve been at the game mode. What developer in their right mind thought this would be a fun node for BG’s. It’s absolutely abysmal.

Add on the all the issues with inputs and bugs (most of which Kabam refuse to acknowledge), and this just makes for a terrible player experience.

They just don’t have a clue at the moment.

I’m judging it based on when it works as intended. It’s the best game mode, but they really have made some poor node choices the past two seasons and it feels overturned right now.

Also sad to see the modder situation return

I think the nodes can be hit or a miss sometimes but overall these are some of the best rewards in the game for decent effort.

I liked the nodes last seasons, but when I don't like a node or when I'm having a really tough day, I prefer to go through event quest or story or arena.

VT or GC isn't to chill out, it rewards to win and any mode that needs people to win one after another can get frustrating real fast.

The real reason so many find it frustrating, isn't just because of the nodes it's the pressure of winning, and if you aren't conditioned to take losses on the way, you can go to a dark place.

It's called "tilting", and this mode does tilt ppl, especially now with the emotes.

Absolute frustration . It's baffling to see how people have been reporting bugs and it's getting ignored like crazy . Input issues are ridiculous in Battlegrounds once again but Kabam still doesn't cares.

But there's absolutely no point of ranting because they are getting the money from whales so players will forever be at loss.

Fix input issues.

Just look at BGs past streams. He doesn't get frustrated but putting in like 10 hours to gain 2-3 levels is just brutal.

Honestly, I'd love to say its fun but there are just too many uncontrollable factors that make it frustrating almost every match. Input issues, bad matchmaking, cheaters and none of them seem to get fixed anytime soon

Seriously? I thought he was good.

He is, but with RNG, bugs and a lower roster for his matchmaking group, he had a tough time getting through.
