    Unless you hit the massive big time on YT (hundreds of thousands subscribers at a minimum) it really doesn't pay that much and it's extremely easy to find a real job that pays much more. I do YT (with 6k subs) as a little hobby and dont even make enough for an electric bill from it.

    Who says leaving a job automatically gives more free time? Maybe new job more time demanding. Or maybe, he got so burnt out from Kabam and game when working there that he didn't enjoy making the vids anymore. Maybe he got to point that didn't feel the effort was worth continuing the vids. Lots of possibilities.
