Auto drafting in BG??

I've been having loads of issues with autografting during BG's. Just like loads of other people I assume. The game randomly picks a champion whenever it's my turn to pick the first champ. So I only get to pick from the 3rd round of selecting.
I'm not the type to complain just for the sake of it it but every time it auto drafts during a BG match it picks the worst champion in my selection. And it's been happening more often than not the last few days.
Do we have an update on this problem?
