Is Aegon still worth awakening?

I have a skill gem, and am considering whether or not I should awaken him. I have 100% explored Act 8, but have not completed labyrinth or Abyss. I’m not sure if the rewards are the the effort at this point. I have NF, Crossbones, and Blade already awakened. I do not have Valkyrie but she may be a good option to save for.

Well I wouldn't awaken him unless you have a clear use. You don't have to hold it for another champ, just don't awaken Aegon until you're going to use him.

Aegon, while a bit outdated, is still a powerful champion.
Awaken him if you plan to use him on some hard content (Labyrinth, Abyss, incursions, Gauntlet)
aside from those content, you will find it hard to really use at its full power

Awakening gem + 200 sig stones isn’t worth the investment for an imo slightly outdated champ.
