I think this has more to do with your phone than the game. The Iphone X only has 3gb of ram. On other Iphone models when the ram gets overloaded the phone shuts the game down to clear all memory.The heating up, slowing down and lag of certain items/icons ingame seems like a memory problem where the phone is removing things from memory and not being able to load new data. Why your phone does not shut the app down when it overloads, I have no clue.But this is not something the creators of this game can do anything about. Other than making it more VERY LOW RAM friendly. Which in itself will cause slowing down for a ton of other users by needed to load certain things from somewhere else than the RAM instead.TLDR: Your phone has too little RAM for the game to keep working properly after a certain amount of time. A simply shut down and start will solve all problems. It has nothing to do with the game.
