Duplicated Compensation?

So people were able to claim their compensation after some time of it being bugged but I was wondering what happens to those who currently have a duplicate or 2 sitting in their stash? I myself have a set that is unclaimable in my stash just sitting there while I have seen others with 2.

Are we going to just have to wait for this to expire or will this be claimable at some point? I understand that it was sent out in error but it would be nice to hear what is going to happen to the duplicated compensation.

They already mentioned what will happen, and what to expect, in MERGED thread.

Prior mails with unclaimable comp. will eventually be removed. You will NOT be able to claim those.
A corrected new mail with claimable rewards has started going out to people. Some have got it already, others may or may not have got corrected one yet.

Ones that are in error and can’t be claimed will eventually go away.
