5 star rank gem

Hey guys, I’m considering exploring 5.3 and want to know how this gem works... does it take up any rank or only a specific rank? And I assume it’s class based...?

They are class specific gems, i pulled a cosmic one

and was able to take a 5* champ from rank2 to rank3.

Same here @Rotelly. Plus I have 4 cosmic t4cc expiring but I’m not using my gold on Ronan lol
