AI special reaction faster than ever

I’m sorry I don’t have a video, but in Threat Level 4 Zone 7 using Hulkling vs. a Gamora, I dashed in and I hit her with my medium, then before I could do my light, she threw a special 2 to my face. The same thing with the same matchup happened to me in BGs today too

There are multiple threads on this topic. And I feel like it almost shouldn't be in the Bug section since KABAM seem to have made this change intentionally.

It's 'working as intended' from their point of view, even if it's made my game almost unplayable.....

I agree with you, OP. The AI speed is beyond ridiculous at this point. I have played this game since the launch in December, 2014, and I have never seen the AI this insanely fast.

Opponents firing SP attacks before the meter is filled visually, insanely fast reaction and recovery speeds, the seemingly increased AI forward dash distance, and firing specials during player’s combos or while stunned and showing the stun icon are not Ok.

These things, and a lot more, including serious input issues, are happening in ALL game modes now to far too many players without being addressed properly by Kabam.

None of these things happened to me before they started messing with things like the AI, the opponent hit boxes, and the parry timing, just to name a few things. Other players have made lots of great and detailed posts about these things.

The AI being able to do things that players physically cannot do or respond to is just not fair, and it’s making the game less enjoyable for many players.
