This synergy that Kate Bishop has with Chavez is limited to the 6* rarity of Kate Bishop. Guess this might become a new norm with 7*s around the corner of not having 5* champions have all the synergies the champion can have.

    There's been a few. As mentioned Kitty Pryde has one. Plus there's Overseer, Absorbing man, Cassie Lang, and probably a few more I'm missing.
