I have no power control champs for variant 4

I have been trying to do variant 4 but I can’t complete it because my champs keep getting killed,trying to bait the AI or they get to their sp3 and kill me. Should I try another variant or rank up some of my champions?
Pls give me advice I only have 79 units and don’t know what else to do.
