Which Arena Crystals do you spend your BCs on?

Honestly i wanna know which ones i should focus on more, while thronebreaker gives a large stack than others it costs more battlechips and you can have more crystals with basic with that amount. All of them have the same drop rates but different size pools of items

    I don't do arena so my primary source of bc is aq lol. So I usually just go for basics since I don't make much to afford the others xD.

    I'm usually in more of a gold bind then a units bind, so I draw from Uncollected for the higher payouts of both gold and units. As often as I play arenas, it doesn't take long to be in a cash out spot, either.

    I did Thronebreaker once when I had a million chips, which I almost never have, and I got nothing but gold. I don't run enough arena to risk that again. I do uncollected because it's fun to get the occasional jackpot and getting 5 full energy refills now and again is nice. Over time the units will be the same so it doesn't really matter. It would be nice if they introduced a professional arena crystal that was actually superior.

    It isn't much, but while every arena crystal has almost exactly the same drop odds (i.e. the UC crystal is just the basic crystal but with five times more rewards in a crystal that costs five times as much) there are two things that are different when you go up to higher crystals. The first is that while they all have similar odds of dropping a Punisher, obviously the higher tier crystals drop higher rarity Punisher. So while the UC crystal has the same chance to drop five times more units, it doesn't have the same chance to drop five times more Punishers, it instead has the asme chance to drop a higher rarity Punisher. Which is honestly worth more than five lower Punishers.

    The second is that the TB crystal could not in all cases scale up rewards by five again. That would mean the TB crystal would be dropping twenty five energy refills which would be ridiculous. So instead the odds of that crystal are tweaked slightly to make sure the rewards still roughly scale correctly. So while the TB crystal has almost the same odds as the UC and basic crystal, it drops *slightly* more gold and energy than would proportionately be true. Not enough that anyone would notice, its just small round off, but its there.

    However, the TB crystals require some mental fortitude. You can get long unlucky streaks because you are opening fewer high value crystals. If bad luck is something you can't stand, I would recommend opening UC or even Basic crystals. Those will average out more quickly over time, so that you will tend not to get a lot more than average but also not much less than average. TB crystals will swing more wildly, but over the very long term you'll end up with a very tiny amount more rewards and a better shot at the higher rarity Punishers.

    Best chance for the best rewards: TB crystals.
    Best chance for the least amount of bad luck: Basic crystal.
    Balanced chance to get decent returns in the short term without going crazy opening too many crystals: UC crystals.
