Brand new email I made "Account already linked"

So I'm trying to transfer my Mcoc account from my old iPad to an android (its linked via Gamecentre right now), so I made a brand new gmail account, used said new email to create a Kabam account via the in-game menu. And when I press create it tells me the account is already linked and when I press login It took me to the Tutorial. Any idea what the hell is happening?

    You have to change from your gamecentre to kabam while your account is open so link it to your email on your iPad first by signing in from 'settings'. You could ask kabam for support I guess as your new email is now linked to a brand new account or just make a new email.

    Or someone has made an account with that email without ever actually registering the email with gmail
