Forum vs ign ?

Does anyone know why my name on the forums is completely different from my ign? How does that work ?

Because they don't have to be the same. Don't even need to have played mcoc to have a forums account.

Does it randomly generate it? It was my first post and it made some odd name for me, is it possible to change it?
