Arena bots/piloting (having someone else do your arena while you sleep so that your account is always fighting). There at least used to be (and many suspect still are) alliance of Name01, Name02, Name03... summoners who have very suspicious arena results. Many like ProfHoff and RichTheMan have covered them in the past. Such alliances shady practices would generate insane number of points to the determent of legitimate players so long as "rank" matters.
While technically this behavior could occur elsewhere in the game... this is where it is most known to exist historically. These practices need to be put in check before giving such accounts and alliances even more rewards.
