So you’re upset that ascension isn’t coming soon and that you’ll be using materials to rank up 7* instead of r5 6*? By the time that ascension comes, those materials will be more available anyway. Talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill.

i just really love discussing stuff from game.
So i was ok with if it got introduced +- same time as 7*. By the time we have 7* rank 3-4+ they will have to do something COMPLETLY BROKEN and money grab mechanic to ressurect 6*. Thats my issue.
If they introduced it now than it wouldnt have to be BROKEN. By OUTSHINE time comes, it will HAVE TO be broken cause stat differance will be too high.

Ascension is not meant to allow 6* champs to keep pace with 7* champs indefinnitely. Ascension is meant to mitigate the transition from 6* to 7*. On day one when 7* champs become available 7* champs and 6* champs will overlap more or less from 6* r4/r5 to 7* r1/r2. Two ranks of overlap. Beyond that point, 7* champs will start to pull away from 6* champs. Ascension's overall intent is to offer slightly more choice between the two while 7* champs are still rare and rank up materials are still scarce for most players.

But Ascension is not intended to allow 6* champs to make 7* champs moot, and it is not intended to forestall the transition to 7* champs in the upper game indefinitely.

Plus, I don't think you're using the terms "completely broken" or "money grab" in the same way I would.

Ascension will most likely come before we can rank 3 a 7*. Keep in mind, we have just a pool of 24 7*'s and they aren't all ones people are wanting to put resources in right away. Plus, a R2 7* requires 4 T6CC which are really difficult to accumulate. There aren't any prestige winners in the 7* base pool so it's unlikely top players will be rushing to R2 their 7*'s unless for some reason they have godly amounts of T6CC laying around.

Ascensions are meant to give us an option to keep using our 6*'s.
