Why am i getting matched up against people with way better pristege and not somone who is close to my pristege i swear its surpose to be a even match up and theres so many cheaters in battleground u cant progress becsuse of it im loosing matches with in 10 seconds sometimes when that should be impossible

Save your self the stress and don’t play BGs you will be a lot happier it’s not fun it’s stressful and they actually do nothing to improve it season after season. I was pushing GC every season and I think maybe 1 season out of all the seasons was actually good the rest have been terrible. I stopped pushing and have been better off since.

To be honest matchmaking should match you against any opponent in my opinion. We all fight for the same rewards and I’ve yet to get out of the victory track in any season. I have a fairly big account but always end up matching people higher than me but see very low accounts getting thru makes no sense to me

Matchmaking isn't the biggest issue, its how the current matchmaking frequently leads to 1 win 1 loss loops that end up basically wasting your time and you can't progress.

7 seasons into the mode and they still can't implement a basic system for the victory track that awards more medals if you beat a tougher opponent. All they need to do is implement a system similar to Alliance War where you gain more or less points per win depending on the matching alliance/opponent.

Pro Tip:

Wait a couple weeks until you try to progress through victory track. BG just started yesterday and everyone starts in Bronze III. Waiting a couple weeks allows the bigger profiles to advance first, giving you more favorable matchups when you begin your progression.

Yes! I was asking the same thing as I am getting paired with players way lower in prestige level than me. It's been super weird, but the changelog does say they made tweaks to early matchmaking.

Modders are getting away with bloody murder. Got locked out of a fight twice in order for them to win the match come on @kabamjax we need better ways of getting rid of cheaters every 7 days of cheaters getting banned does not help game play. And AI IS WAAAAAAAAY TO PASSSSSIVE! The human brain operates much better than what Ai is doing.

I would recommend lowering your deck rating

It is also because the current ai is far more intelligent as it knows how to counter your heavies after literally waiting you out until degen kicks in

2nd and 3rd week of BG season are usually easier
So a much better advice would be to wait out week one or advance as far as you can

Is that the same type you initially complained about ?
People way above your prestige ?

If so, and really, that is not very high at all, I’d say you’ll just need to be patient then, as you build up your own roster with more 5* r5 champs.
You may currently be at the lower end of the people that qualify for being able to even participate in BG's.
