Update: Erroneous 'Bundle 1' for Thronebreakers in GWBB

Hello Summoners,

Gwenpool's Bubble Bauble Blowout ititially released with an error in the Bauble Store for 'Bundle 1' for Thronebreaker accounts. The offer displayed and awarded 10,000 six-star shards instead of the intended 1,000 six-star shards. As soon as the team was aware they removed the bundle; it was live for 48 minutes before it was taken down.

The team has come to a decision and will operate as follows:

Anyone who purchased these bundles with the error in place, will be allowed to keep the shards and rewards from subsequently opened crystals. After looking at the data we saw this was a very small number of players.

We believe this is a solution that best takes into account the interests of both the Summoners and the Contest.

Wow.... I am at a loss for words. My alliance mate gets to keep all those six star champs because of an error and everyone else who would have bought that bundle doesn't have the choice. It still affects all of us. I am disappointed deeply. I believe there should be some form of equal comp to those who could have purchased that bundle but couldn't.

They won’t get their bauble back. They decided to take no action so it makes no sense for them to return the baubles

Small number. Only like what a few hundred thousand players... Thronebreaker and higher players should be given access to this. Just put a cap on it like you did at 10. Make it fair. Those who got that deal, it was a game changer for them. I have to watch my ali mate take a huge leap and get away with it while I can't now.

Ok, that makes sense. I saw the deal in there but didn't get it. I was thinking save up for the R4 gem but realized that is probably a paid one. It was gone when I checked next. I guess congrats to the ones who got it then.

I think it would have been better to keep that bundle in and to make it available to paragon players as well, it would have benefitted everyone instead of just the few who got it, it may not have made a major impact but if it provides an unfair advantage to the limited few then that is unfair ( especially looking at gamemodes like Battleground and AW into account ), it wouldn't break the game and actually would be a welcome gesture to the community since 7*s are just on the horizon, so having those extra 6*s shards would be great to get closer to your first ever 7*s

Exactly. The difference is WAY too big (10,000 vs 1,000...you could've opened up 10 for the same amount someone would open 1 with), it really feels like a slap in the face to say "oh well, no one else gets anything and they were all just lucky cause we screwed up".

I do think an additional amount of bobbles be sent to everyone who didn't "take advantage" of the offer, even if it means only being able to open like one additional bundle.

I respectfully disagree that it was a game changer. I'm a seasoned player, Thronebreaker but not far from Paragon and I'm one of those who bought a number of bundles. I got exactly 2 new champs - Cull Obsidian and Symbiote Spidey - and a whole bunch of dupes for some 7* shards and ISO. I gained negligible advantage versus someone who couldn't access the deal.

A better option for both kabam and the players would be to make it a limited time offer for like 2 days and then reduce the cost thereafter, as this would encourage people to spend on bobbles as there are only limited amount of them each day, while letting the remaining people keep the rewards as they have had to spend to get those, this solution however only works if made live today, otherwise people will hoard the bobbles and buy all of that for free

Someone in my alli opened 12 featured 6* and got all sorts of champs, like duping their Absorbing Man (for whom I've been buying the weekly mystic and special Sunday paragon & tb offers - and still don't have him yet). Also, by being a paragon I didn't even have the offer in my store. There must be some sort of compensation for this f-up. Also that small number of players can't be so small as they are just as many as the unlucky ones. You can tell by the number of dislikes on common sense comments. I feel like the guys who would need to fix this just said it would be too much / difficult work and it'd be better to make up some excuse and swipe it under the rug.
