All 1, 3 and 5 day alliance events are gone and a new 7 day event that only accounts for fighting in different modes is in their place. They left item use out and despite a great deal of people asking they are so far refusing to answer why.
It was the only thing I used my XP boosts on so they purposely made the XP boosts useless? We want item use back Kabam. Mad because people saved their items for item use?

I'm quite glad I don't have to save items for item use, I can just awaken and sig whoever I want whenever I want.
The only 2 events now are basically FIGHTING vs ADVANCING Advancing being things that advance your roster, opening crystals for champs/resources, or ranking up, leveling up.
I guess the USING of SigStones or Awak.Gems could be argued should be added to Advancement event. But other prior ITEM USE things wouldn’t really fall under Advancement.
Other threads have made mention that Kabam said “rewarded for playing the game, like before” (or some such wording), and that Using Items should therefore not be taken away.
Well, they also took away ALLIANCE HELP, and SPEND LOYALTY. And things like Setting up or Adjusting Masteries, etc, are part of “playing the game” too, but don’t count, and have never counted,
Saving Items for using on a single day each week (how it used to be) is not needed anymore because the events are *continuous* now, they run continually, bak-2-bak.
If you do want to stock up and save for particular weeks (vs other weeks), that can be done with popping a ton of saved up GOLD or SOLO crystals, if you otherwise have a ton of those that you never open because you don’t need them. Or pop a ton of PC or 3* crystals probably stuck in the corner accumulating dust.
