This season's matchmaking is so tight that win or loss is literally determined by the rng of the match picker or how many bugs you or your opponent get in the match.

I'm sick of BGs atm and simply play for the rewards. What a sh*tshow!

Ya, it makes perfect sense for 5k and 6k prestige players crushing to GC in a week while many paragons never get out of victory track. Makes perfect sense (in case it's not clear I'm being extremely sarcastic).

Because currently a Paragon with 0 points can match an UC with 0 points and crush him, because “No one should be crushing someone else in a match” as you said.
Matchmaking shouldn’t be determined by any factor, other than your ability to win matches. Period 😠

If there wasn’t any factors, there wouldn’t be any matchmaking. May as well delete the game mode at that point.

The parameters should have closer matchmaking in VT to stop any kind of “easy” path to GC. If equally matched players are fighting each other at every stage it doesn’t matter if the 5k prestige person makes it to GC, because they’d be fighting 5k players to get there, it would essentially be down to roster/skill. And yes, I know that it isn’t a perfect system and that it needs A LOT of work, hell I don’t agree with prestige matchmaking in any metric because it doesn’t accurately determine the players strength, however if the OP is correct and matches are tighter and down to picks and bans and it applies to every player at all prestige “brackets” that’s not a bad thing.

Unfortunately I don't have any other thing to do in the game except 8.2 exploration (Which is almost done anyway) Alternative is to stop playing altogether but I'm addicted.
