How do I get more energy refillls while being out of units

I'm exploring acts 3-5 for units and the rewards from act 5. I'm extremely low in units and have no more energy refills. I grind arena but can't get much more than a few refills. Each path takes about all my energy so I run out fast. What do I do

go NE from start, Ronan and KG, you can reliably get 1 full (about 95%),and often 2. if they're not on the same path, it's still energy effective to quit out and restart, assuming you're at the 70 turn cap.

not a huge sample size, but tats based on over 100 runs. including a few today. still a net gain, for the time investment.

5.3.6 still works.

Also you can join Marvel Insider and they give energy refills in the rewards I get each month
