FREE WEEK for AQ Map 7 and 8

For this AQ event only, we are removing Map Costs for Alliance Quest Map 7 and 8 only this week.

Take this time to test your mettle on a more challenging map, or just make the most out of this exclusive event to reach for better rewards!

No thanks… it’s a nice gesture but AQ is still so stale I chipped a tooth reading this. For me this game mode needs more help than cost free harder maps

Would love to see this extended to Battlegrounds. Mode seems to need some incentive. A free week might do that!

I don’t mean to be bitter. This is just something that I, and I’m sure many others, would appreciate.

I will add that anyone who harassed any community managers over these issues is out of line. There’s no need to be rude or disrespectful. The team is (hopefully) doing everything they can to make things better.

The biggest issue in AQ is that the reward structure is hurting the game mode. The two key barriers:

1) the 3400 glory wall. Milestones 34-39 all give 3400 glory. This was a de facto cap in the old days. Now that milestones go past 1 billion points, we’re way past due for those milestones to reflect 3400/3500/3600/3700/3800/3900.

2) the rank rewards. Do you know what the difference is between rank 91 and rank 1200? Not nearly enough to justify the effort, for many players.

If you can’t reach 600 million easily, you may as well chill. I’ll also add the outdated honor rewards as 2B here. I get more for clearing a single map 6 than a full week of honor rewards with a heroic/master mix. I guess that’s more about the points.

Anyway, for anyone who’d like to contribute, I’d love to see your map structure, rough weekly total and rank to compare. We’re around 525mil running 665 and we ranked 673 last cycle, but typically we are closer to 800.

It sure feels new and unexpected. Those defenders are hitting HARD today. Got close to timing out on KG miniboss too, and it’s only day 2. 😬

It’s high time Map 7 was permanently made free to play…get rid of the unnecessary cost

Ok i tried and can confirm, for our Alliance, map 7 dont Work for us. Map 8 was 'managable'.
But map 7 nodes are a mess for most of us.

So thanx for the advice! Stupid me trying it 😄

We have done Map 7 day 1 and day 2 and both days it says 97% complete yet we have done all paths. If I had to guess I think the parts I circled are the reason it says this. You can tell we went across those paths.

Can we get a response on issues with this aq set? Like guy above or what’s going on regarding the 7*s on map 8. Less then 2 hours before aq day starts. Answers to these questions allow alliances to make changes and adjust

Seriously what was the point here Kabam? Unless you are going to dramatically increase the rewards the extra work isn’t worth the hassle. Yes even in the top tier alliance you made us use items was that the goal? Show me the payoff in substantially better AQ rewards otherwise put it back.

It almost seems like they knew they messed up the conversion so they preemptively made the maps free but didn’t want to call attention to that.

This aq week was really tough, but the difficulty wasnt intended at all.
