7-star Celebrations Alliance event.

Why is the format of the 7-star celebrations event different from all other alliance events. I think it’s horrendous that I have contributed to this alliance event but can only claim the first reward as I need to earn more points to claim more rewards. Surely an event like that should be a solo event where the more I earn the more I get, or what is the point in being in an alliance?

Other events such as the banquet have minimum contribution levels

Point is to convince ones's alliance to do the same and grow at same rate, ideally.
But yeah.

...but isn't there a solo event running parallel to the alliance one?

There's a solo event, you get what you earn, simple.

As for the alliance event, don't be a leach, pull your weight.
