Alliance war not worth the effort

This is specifically towards lower and mid tier alliances. The amount of rewards that one can get from being in a Silver or lower placed alliance does not make it worth the effort to participate. We get better rewards from Side Quests and Battlegrounds. The structure of AW seriously needs to be changed. It is an archaic game mode that is in dire need of reevaluation. I can suggest the following starting points.
1. Remove energy cost from both AW and AQ. We get points from winning fights. It doesn't matter if we can do it in an hour or 12. You can replace it with fight count: 12 fights per player in AW, for example.
2. Update rewards for everyone. Given the current structure of AW, there is no reason why lower tier alliances should ever participate in AW.
There are more suggestions that much more intelligent people have suggested, however those two are mine too start with.
I have a 3M Paragon account and I can participate in AW if I wish to. I just don't. I'm repulsed by the idea of AW whenever someone tries to recruit me.
I would sincerely hope that Kabam does something to make both AW and AQ better game modes. The two suggestions I've put forward can be a starting point that don't require a lot of change.

Energy cost for both AQ and AW literally makes zero sense in 2023.
Both modes are a drag and severely outdated rewards wise, at least for the 90%+ of the player base below the top tier alliances.
Kabam watches YTbers still streaming AW videos and believes people are still heavily interested in AW, but outside Masters and higher tiers of Platinum allies, people play AW mostly out of habit if they even do.
Both participation, win and season rewards for Gold1 allies and below don’t worth to even bother with the mode anymore.
Kabam updated rewards only for top tiers, that would play AW anyway, instead of catering for once at lower tiers that are massively leaving the mode.
Update the rewards from G1 and below, they are completely irrelevant 😠
