When will Kabam add new 7-Stars to the 7-Star pool? Save my Shards??

So my issue is that I don’t find myself excited about the Champions in the 7-Star pool (other than a few).

So I think I want to hold onto my shards and wait until they’ve added some champions that I’m more excited for.

Second problem is- I have no idea when they’ll add new champions to the 7-Star Basic pool.

Should I save and wait and maybe get a champion that I’ll really like and actually use, or suck it up, and go get that 7-Star Joe Fixit?

First of Joe Fixit is great.
I wouldn't expect any new additions till we know make about the titan so few months at least.
And I would open now to score more points towards the current event

also if you think of it, it’s easier to get specific champs now that you’ll somewhat need later. domino and korg are staples of battlegrounds defence and with the pool size being at its lowest maybe it’s the best time to target them

1. You might be waiting a very long time and be at a disadvantage all that while in bgs and war.
2. As nico said you have the highest possible chance to target certain amazing champs like hulk domino bishop overseer titania etc.
3. Most of the 7 stars are actually useful in some way simply because even at r1 they are similar in power level to a rank 5 6 star and have much higher stats than rank 4s. In the future when rank 5s are more abundant this will matter less.
4. There is no guarantee that Kabam add champs that are on average better than the ones in the pool currently. They could add drax cyclops or whatever with maybe a few stronger champs like omega sentinel but overall this would decrease the probability of a good pull.
5. Right now you get free rewards for opening 7 stars in the solo and alliance event anyway which can get you some nice extra catalysts and crystals for doing nothing else.

Hence you should probably just open them now.

I think it will be a while before they add new champs. The pool is pretty great to be fair right now. It will take a good while for them to add champs. And it will be even longer before they add top of the top tier champs like Doom, Herc, Torch, Kitty, Apoc etc. Those will most likely be reserved for the titan crystals for a while. And even if they do add new champs. You will still have a great chance at getting the Joe you do not want.

Eventually. But would likely take 2 rotations before they’re in the basic. Need to fill up the titan crystal once, then on the second rotation for that first pool to move into basic.
